Pick Prototype when you like managing a resource and choosing between mobility effects. Community documentation describes speed, gravity, and regeneration coil functions tied to a battery. That makes decision order important: activate the tool that solves the immediate route, then leave enough resource for the next turn. The live ability panel remains the deciding source for which coils and battery rules are present now.

Pick Guest 666 when you prefer reactive escape and utility around a companion named Model. Community descriptions connect the character with speed, warnings, traps, tracking, or disruption across versions. These mechanics are especially sensitive to reworks, so learn the current screen one button at a time and do not copy a full sequence from legacy footage.

Survivor round priorities

Your first priority is information. Identify the Killer, the nearest safe landmark, two exit choices, and where teammates are moving. A Survivor who knows only one route becomes predictable. A Survivor who spends every movement option before the Killer commits has no recovery when the chase changes direction.

Your second priority is spacing. Support actions are useful only if you can reach the interaction without giving the Killer two targets at once. Follow the chase from an angle, keep an escape lane, and wait for a visible commitment. If your character uses a projectile or timed tool, avoid firing through teammates or from a camera angle that hides the target.

Your third priority is recovery. After breaking line of sight, decide whether to rejoin, reposition, or help another route. Do not immediately return through the same doorway. Listen for the opponent, watch the status UI, and learn whether the current build exposes teammate health, danger, or ability states.

Evidence and status fields

The official badge list includes Survivor level milestones at 10, 25, 50, 75, and 100. Those badges confirm a progression concept at the universe level. They do not reveal how experience is calculated, whether each character levels separately, or which rewards are attached. Read the live results and progression screen before planning a grind.

Build a useful character check in the lobby

Open the Survivor selector and record the exact display name, availability state, cost or requirement, role label, health or movement fields if shown, and every ability description. Then join the main experience, not a legacy place, and test one action in a low-pressure moment. Note the input shown on your device rather than copying keyboard letters to mobile.

For active abilities, check what prevents use, what starts cooldown, whether damage interrupts the action, and whether the effect reaches teammates. For passive abilities, observe the trigger and visible feedback. Do not infer range from an animation alone. Do not infer a permanent role label from a community tier-list category.

If a value changes between the menu and match, keep both observations and the server date. Prototype games can update while some servers remain old. A fresh-server recheck helps distinguish a patch from a mistaken reading.

Team play without voice chat

Use movement, quick chat, pings, and visible positioning before assuming everyone can hear you. Lead teammates toward a clear route rather than circling them. If your action buffs allies, make sure they are close enough and moving in a direction that benefits.

Avoid stacking identical support actions with no plan. Two players using their tools at the same moment may waste the second effect. Stagger help when the first action has resolved. If the current UI exposes cooldowns only to the owner, communicate through spacing and predictable movement.

Current versus legacy characters

Waffle Office publishes several legacy experiences with descriptions tied to dates and old version boundaries. These are valuable history records, but the current main experience has a different Universe ID and can use reworked characters.
